Departing passengers at the Hong Kong International Airport will be able to browse the web with greater speed using free high-speed wi-fi that will be available in 10 areas next week.
The high-speed wi-fi is part of a series of upgrades the Airport Authority has been rolling out to improve passenger experience.
Free shower rooms for arriving passengers – one for each gender – have already been added near the immigration checkpoints.
According to the authority, the download speed could go up to 400Mb per second, which will be highly convenient for business travelers who may need to retrieve large files from the internet.
